INTERACTIVE PROTOTYPE: " THE TOGGLE"

Flossform is a dental-specific organizational app used

to connect patients’ health histories with MyChart.

Users need a way to enter and store medical records

because it ensures an easy transferal between

providers and protects their privacy.

Addressing User Pain Points:

  • Time-consuming

  • Redundant & Repetitive

  • Hard to Remember

  • Lack of Assistance

Included features such as:

  • Call to action Buttons

  • Gestalt principles to simplify process

  • Progression indicators

  • Consistent navigation bar for user to access anytime

  • Dashboard for user settings

  • Not enough image space to showcase dental practice

  • Wasted empty space

  • Lots of Text

  • No browsing categories that can help user & refine search criteria

LEFT PROTOTYPE

RIGHT PROTOTYPE

  • Icons of Search Criteria, color-coded

  • Bigger space for image clarity

  • Clear call to action button of "BOOK" with call icon

I wanted to create an interactive feature where users got to experience a successful confirmation of their dental appointment.

In order to perform successful high-fidelity prototypes, more feedback & designated research time is needed. This has been an ongoing personal project for Google's Courseera UX Certification. I am continuing this product during my Masters' studies as I gain more insight!

Thank you, and don't forget to floss.
